Birmingham Railway Museum

It's current location between the unit stabling, workshop and scrap yard has always baffled me. It strikes me that the LM site could benefit from using the site. It would also fit in wonderfully to Birminghams railway heritage if the museum moved to the shameful Curzon Street site. There's more than enough room, it's much more centrally located, it's near thinktank and iMax at Millenium Point. They could even use the old goods line area from Curzon St to Aston for mainline access. I know it would be a big upheavel, and the GWR people wouldn't like being by the LM region arch, but for the future of the museum and expansion of Tyseley, wouldn't this make sense?

Practically it does make sense but the problem is the shed was Tyeseley and it will lose it's fame and most of it's fortune.Also if you said to various heritage groups would you like to stable you locomotives just outside Birmingham town center not far from nechells they would run a mile.
I would love to see the site used for a more fitting purpose cause around two years ago I went to an art exhibition at the station building and it's fantastic although plaster boarded inside but it would take long to restore it.
