Off to West Bromwich for the day on Saturday (25th January).

Considering parking up at Birmingham International Station and get the train in.

From what I can see, the car park being full is extremely unlikely - is that correct or should I have an alternate plan just in case - is it worth pre-booking?

Seen some complete horror stories of cars parked up in Birmingham being dismantled in a few hours.

All advice gratefully received. Going with my son who is looking forward to going on something other than the class 450s and 444s we get in Hampshire.

In my experience, you should be fine on a Saturday.

Other possible options would be Solihull or Dorridge stations which both have large car parks, and are a direct line to the Hawthorns.

Great stuff - thank you for all taking the time to reply.

I look forward to travelling on something other than a 450.
