Birmingham Derailment (26 August 2011)

Can anyone shed some light on the freight train derailment in Birmingham. Given the trains that have been cancelled or diverted I am guessing its somewhere around Camp Hill curve. Is that correct?

If this is any use,had a look on web and apparently a train coded 6Z31 has derailed at Bordesley Jct and all Camp Hill trains diverted via New St.66207 was sat in plat.8 at New St(0752hrs) with a tank train,Chris.

If that's right, it sounds like it could be one of ours, possibly a Stud Farm (Cliffe Hill) to Westbury or Eastleigh working. I'll find out when I get to work in a bit.

Tell me about it; used to see two 6M66s at the same time of the day but in opposite directions, guaranteed to confuse some people :roll:
