For sea views, Llanaber and a few of the other Cambrian Coast stations are great! Harlech also has great views of a castle.

It's not so much for the view, which isn't great, but Cardiff Central when they're brewing in the Brains Brewery next door is good!

I quite like Wallasey Village if you wait towards the entrance/exit of the Liverpool bound platform, good views of the Welsh hills in the distance.

I've been to Gourock and I still can't say it

No, really, It had long since gone dark when I left Glasgow Central so I went there and returned in darkness - I had no idea there was a sea view!

Why is it that so many think sheep shaved hills (say that after a few jars) form a great view. I quite like the Victorian gloom of the LT sub-surface lines. It's cosy down there.

I dunno, there were a fair few urban views suggested in the first couple of pages... Blackfriars for example!

Not a spot most will have gone to, But I would say Exton has an excellent view of the Exe valley. On a clear day Posloe Bridge has a good view of Exeter, due to its height.
