So I'm in London for 7 or 8 hours on Friday and was wondering what are the best trips to make within the Oyster/Contactless zone? Ideally they won't be journeys that can only be done once a day.

Thanks as always :)

The North London like from Richmond to Stratford is very enjoyable. Lots of different scenery to see. Most of the time, you wouldnt even think you were in one of the world's largest cities

Liverpool Street to Stratford, really like the urban feel of this bit!

Paddington - West Drayton for fast run through the West London suburbs

Wimbledon - Chessington South/Hampton Court.

London Bridge to Tattenham Corner. Change at East Croydon if you would rather do the journey from Victoria.
Once you leave the Brighton Mainline, south of East Croydon the route becomes quite rural, Passingg through lovely wooded valleys, and difficult to believe that you are still within the London Travelcard area.

Gospel Oak-Barking is a diverse line in many respects - well worth sampling. Viaducts over Leyton through to crossing the Lea Valley Park.

The run up to Chesham through the hills on the Metropolitan Line.
