Best place for freight in London?

Hi,

Thanks for all the Preston help, an enjoyable couple of hours were had…

So closer to home,, where would be the best station in London for some midweek freight sightings? I’m guessing the North London line somewhere?? Willesdon Junc maybe??

Also what’s the best day / time of day or doesn’t it matter?

You would be able to see a lot of freights in the Forest Gate / Wanstead Park / Manor Park / Woodgrange Park area, everything from Felixstowe, Tilbury, Barking etc.

Ealing Broadway should provide some interest.

I'd say Kensington Olympia is a good location for lots of freight.

Seen plenty enthusiasts at Ealing Broadway as I've gone through en route to LHR.

Could vary day to day at each location,
As a start point I'd have a look on Real Times trains and if you look at previous dates it'll help plan what was through around 7 days previously to give you an idea.
