I would rate the game pies (served with gravy and mint sauce) served at Harrogate Town as by far the best I have encountered in the football league! No idea who makes them, or if they are more generally available in the North Yorkshire area, but they are first class.

Would prefer a pie without the steak, so if someone does a kidney pie or better still a kidney pudding please let me know. :D

Cowards Butchers in Frodsham. They were even seen on the TV Program Motorway Cops, when it was filmed in Cheshire.

Another fantastic thread!
I'll chuck my two penneth in... for me, the best pie shop was the Crusty Cob on Berwick St, Manchester. Sadly long gone but their meat and potato pies were amazing! Wilsons at Kearsley do nice pies, especially at Christmas with one that has a pig in blanket sticking out the top! Buy for me in the here and now, Park Farm at Walmersley does stunning pies, especially the cheese, carrot and potato! Lovely!

The pies at Kidderminster Harriers FC were reputedly some of the best available at English Football League stadia.

Best pies in my opinion are from Ryan's Butchers in Much Wenlock, Shropshire. A wide variety of both family size and individual pies, fully pastried top and bottom before you ask! They come ready cooked, chilled to heat up at home, or even frozen.

Best fish pie could be that at The Bell, Pensax, Worcestershire. Cooked to order, it takes half an hour, but plenty of decent ale to sup whilst waiting!

The shepherds pie was excellent but the Aggborough soup was unbelievably good. Worth us losing 1-0 to them nearly every time we went. Almost
