Hello,

I’ve been told I have been successful to go forward for the psychometric tests to become a Train Driver. I am so confused on which is the best one to buy and download to my Apple MaAC. I can see a lot of them are not Apple friendly. Any advise on the best one to buy so I can start practising, would be gratefully appreciated! Or if there are any free to use sites with examples. Even better!!

I am particularly nervous about the listening test - think it’s called GLOP? So any advice on how I can get myself into better place with that particular one would be amazing! Thank you ☺️

I have done that but lots of people have said to try other online tests too.

Just buy the blue practise book on Amazon for £10 then use the practise material you’re sent. The online tools to buy are massively inflated because of what they could lead to. I passed fine using these

I wouldn't go for how2become (if they do mac). I bought some of their software (emulating atavt and wavf) and they're nothing like the real tests, absolute scam in my opinion. Trainee train driver info has got fairly good tests emulating these 2, and I think they also do them for mac. Only thing is that in my opinion, the photo test needs more photos as you fairly quickly start to recognise the ones used.

But, saying all this, ask yourself if you really need the software. I only got the two above because I felt quite unsure of them, and they're difficult to emulate with home brewed tests. The tests are expensive for what they are, and I expect most people with the intrinsic ability needed to pass these tests can pass them using the practice material that should be sent to you by the TOC.

Another one here who passed using the material provided by my toc and what I read on here. I don’t see how paying for extra practice material would have benefited me in anyway.

Hi!
Did you find a mac compatible one? I've found one on traineetraindriverinfo.com. Not sure if it's any good or not? Thanks!

I used the material from this website on a MacBook Air. I found them really useful and passed 1st time.
I’ve been driving for 3 years now.

Also used on mac book air. Has a few little problems with certain applications of the pack, but definitely helped! Passed first time with the practice too!
