Travelling from Worcester to Birmingham one day last week noted a number of cards listing forthcoming improvements to London Midland trains, mostly already announced at the time of the direct award, but in addition a reference to additional calls at Bescot Stadium as an alternative to Tame Bridge Parkway - presumably meaning for Wednesbury passengers.
The footpath from the station to the bottom of the M6 footbridge has been resurfaced, but the section between the Walsall and Grand Junction lines looks to be on the verge of complete disappearance being cut off by the river and railway.
