Hi! Can somebody help me with this please?

Need to go from Bellgrove to Summerston (buying a RETURN) tomorrow. Would Bellgrove to Anniesland, then get a train from Anniesland to Summerston be ok for this part of the trip?

On the return, however, I plan to go from Summerston to Glasgow Queen Street, then go down to the Low Level and get a train from there to Bellgrove.

Are both of these combinations valid? I think the first one is ok, not too sure about the second one. Thanks!

The easement 300396 .....
Customers travelling from Summerston, Possilpark , Gilshochill and
Ashfield to Glasgow Queen Street may not travel via Anniesland. This
easement applies in both directions.

Bit of a grey area however as it would actually be convenient for you to travel via Anniesland AND your origin station is Bellgrove!

Its the permitted route via Summerston so you are entitled to a break of journey.

Not sure if I follow the above but in this case the shortest route, and that taken by advertised though trains is the same, ~ direct via Queen Street Low Level & Partick. Via Summerston is also permitted because it is less than 3 miles more than the shortest route.

A permitted route does not affect any break of journey rights that a ticket may have & v.v.. I am unaware of any ticket from Bellgrove to Anniesland that forbids break of journey.

The CDR fare to Anniesland from Bellgrove is only 10p more than that to Summerston.

That only affects tickets to/from Glasgow Central/Queen Street which happen to be used to travel to Queen Street. It doesn't affect any ticket to/from Bellgrove.

As both routes are quick enough to appear on journey planners, I doubt anyone would give a Bellgrove-Summerston ticket a second glance on either route.
