I realise these are pretty basic questions but I just want to make sure I am reading things correctly.
If I have an Anytime Day Single from Belfast to Exeter (bizarrely it is a day single not an open single despite the only return being an SOR!) how long do I have to complete my journey, as I plan to leave Belfast in the afternoon so can't possibly reach Exeter the same day.
My understanding is that it really is only valid till 0230 with the only relaxation being that I can continue on the same train till midday making my trip not possible. Is there not an exception for Northern Ireland tickets or even Dublin tickets as Avantix seems to suggest not?
Also Belfast tickets seem to alow break of journey unlike the Dublin ones. Is that correct?
Does anyone know if the ticket can be bought in Northern Ireland and where, or do I have to buy it from the mainland?
Finally with these tickets does the routing guid apply from Straraer/Holyhead/Fishguard as appropriate or must you go shortest route (I always assumed routing guide applied)
Thanks in advance!
