Bedford - Loughborough - Crewe

Afternoon,

I'm considering going to the GCR steam gala on Friday 25th January before getting the sleeper to Aviemore to try a bit of skiing. Just wondering what the best ticket combination to get would be? I don't have any railcards and I already have a ticket for the sleeper.

I want to arrive at Loughborough sometime before Noon and obviously need to be at Crewe by around 2330 to get the sleeper. I'd like to leave Loughborough no earlier than 1900.

The best I have come up with so far is:

£19 Advance on the 1007 from Bedford arrive Loughborough 1104
£28 Anytime Single Loughborough - Crewe

I'm sure a saving should be available on the Loughborough - Crewe section - any ideas?

For the Loughborough to Crewe leg, split at Long Eaton. Cost £3.80 LBO to LGE and £9.80 LGE to CRE, total £13.70.
