Bedford 'any permitted' Travelcards. Valid via Bletchley?

Someone on my local Facebook commuter group wants to travel from Cheddington to Flitwick then into London with travelcard then back to Cheddington finishing short. Is a Bedford travelcard valid via Bletchley and can you stop short at Cheddington? I was going to suggest either a Single to Bedford then Bedford travelcard, or a Cheddington Travelcard with a single to Flitwick via Bletchley and Bedford and then a Flitwick to BZ6 single. Any other ideas?

Bow Brickhill - London Z1-6 Any Permitted is one I know of that is valid either via Bletchley or Bedford. And there is no BOJ restriction except for the Super Off Peak Travelcard which has one on the outward.

A Bedford Travelcard is valid both ways, but would not be valid to start and finish in this manner. Travel from Cheddington to Flitwick requires the use of the "return portion" (of the validity between Bedford and Boundary Zone 6) followed by the "outward portion", which is obviously not permitted.

Either of your suggestions would be feasible.

Thanks all. In the end, they got a Tring travel card, single from Tring to Flitwick via Bletchley and drove from there to south London and then train back to Tring.
