Becoming a Senior Conductor

Hi everyone,

I'm due to start my training as a Senior Conductor with a TOC in the midlands in just under 3 weeks time. Obviously I'm really looking forward to this and can't wait to get stuck into training, but I was wondering if anyone could give me tips/advice on how to deal with the training and then on how to do the role well once I'm qualified and getting out and about on the trains?

Due to the wide variety of people on here who carry out the role or do something similar I thought this would be a good place to ask.

Did you come from the stations by any chance?

I assume you're off to Bletchley?

Pay attention in class>Revise as much as possible>Decent sleep>Repeat...

I'm actually switching TOC's by taking up this new role, but yes I've been working at a station for nearly 3 years now.

Well I'll keep an eye out for a Danny at 102 New Street in the coming weeks... Don't get lost in the lifts

I work for LM already, so I know how daunting 102 New Street is! Haha.

In a couple of weeks time though I will be ex-LM and heading over to sunny New Street to join XC
