Why is it that every rendered photo of the future look of a station that Network Rail produces never has any non-white people? Is there no clip art available of black or Asian people?

In Hatfield, there's a new development of student flats and they've gone for a mock-up that implies most people walking around the town are young women. All white, obviously.

Why show a totally unrealistic vision of the future, whether a new train station, housing development, shopping centre or whatever?

So slide 8 at the very front of the picture doesn't show 3 Asian people more prominently than any other race? Even facing forward. Whilst I applaud your stance it is based on lies when the clearest picture actually shows ethnic minorities!

Looking at the pictures again, it appears that the small arches WERE the original indoor/outdoor bit of the station frontage. It would have been nice if the revamp could have restored them to this role, eliminating the need for any awning. I hope there was a good excuse for not doing this.

Hmm, something like a Verrandah - oops that's Indian isn't it? Perhaps it wasn't part of the original design which the architects are trying to recreate as closely as possible, or as it isn't now part of the listed structure they're not allowed to put it back! I think the glass canopy, which won't keep the rain off, jars far more than a long porch built in the style and materials of the Train Shed. The mock image shows lots of people, in reality I think it will be a windswept wasteland - unless there are foodstalls and seating as at Euston.
