Buses or busses? I was in the Netherlands recently and noticed they used the term "busses" - it did not look right.

The plural of "de bus" in Dutch is "de bussen".

UK = Buses. No idea why people keep putting an extra 's' in it.

It's also Affected, not Effected !

I didn't know that. I have always been tempted to chastise people for spelling it "busses" but now I'm glad I haven't done so. The spellchecker in my Chrome browser doesn't like "buses" but accepts "busses" even though it is supposed to be English (United Kingdom).
