Hi,

Hope you're well. Basingstoke to Woking currently has a replacement bus service. Nowhere does their website state I can go via a different route.

I have a "any permitted route" season ticket and would like to know if I can travel via Reading?

Unfortunately I don't have the time to read the routeing guides.

Hoping one of you lovely bunch know?

Merry Christmas Eve

Yes, an any permitted ticket is valid via Reading them into Paddington on Elizabeth Line or GWR, as well as the slower SWR service to Waterloo via Ascot.

Note that the line to Paddington is also closed for engineering works on 27th - 29th Dec. You will be able to get as far as Ealing Broadway then tube from there.

This is on maps PZ and PZ+WX

Hi,

You're a legend. Thanks also for the heads up for the further works. This is much appreciated.

Have a lovely Christmas
