Could anybody tell be please what year the diesel "boggies" (Thumpers) took over from steam on the 'slow' route from BSK to Reading.......?

They are shown in the Summer 1963 timetable but not the Summer 1961.
I think it would actually have been in 1962, as the Oxted line diesel timetable with the 3Ds came in for Summer 1963.
A quick Google confirms that the "Berkshire" units 1127-33 were 1962
