Barry Island Railway fire

From the looks of things its arson.. But the mess room has been burnt to the ground and the entire side of the shed next to it scorched even stretching to the roof they must of been some hefty flames.

Once again, the minority spoil things for the majority. Hopefully the society has the funds and manpower to rebuild it.

What society? Didn't they close down????

Although the Vale of Glamorgan Railway (which previosuly ran the line at Barry) has relocated to the Garw Valley Railway, the Barry Island site is now managed by Cambrian Transport who were awarded the lease of the line by the council. I think we can expect some developments on site later this year.
