Me. I'm driving!

I've got a WTT to upload later to the website today hopefully. All 3 units are due to run (last minute hitches permitting). We also intend to run to Gladstone Bridge station, adding a bit of mileage to the event. First train is at 1130hrs.

Just to confirm that the BIR will be hosting a DMU running day on Saturday Sept 20th. Classes 108, 115 and 117 in action with trains running to Gladstone Bridge (handy for Morrisons!) as well as to Hood Road (Waterfront). First train 1130hrs from Barry Island. Rover tickets available, full details (and WTT) available on the website.

Come and join us on (probably) our last diesel event of 2008.

Normal disclaimers apply!

Nick.

just seen the timetable looks good

For this event, we've tried to run a "carousel" service with each unit running in rotation. It gives the drivers a break between trains and provides a bit of a change for the visitors.

Weather forecast looks OK too.

Yes, the 115 is very much "part restored". A lot of hard work still to do. Glad you enjoyed it.
