Was that the event that was in October?

Its because of concerns that repairs to Flying Scotsman wouldn't have been finished in time for the October date.

it was, but Barrowhill are planning an event for 2 Oct 2011, and of course there's 'Model Rail Live'-17/18 Sept 2011 ,which as always an excelllent event. more details on Barrowhills website. cheers.

Thanks for the info about the 2nd Oct thing, didn't know. Model Rail Live should be good - last year was brilliant - and Tornado's been confirmed as a guest. Shme it's on the same weekend as the Long Marston Open w/end though.
