Due to some senseless chavs stealing cable somewhere near Scunthorpe Yesterday, my plan to visit Barnetby didnt go too well. After setting off at 0530 i finally arrived at 1325... lordz

Man, sorry to hear about the chavs stealing the cabling, but Barnetby is so worth it. An excellent photography area, i enjoyed my stay there a few weeks ago (if only for a few hours) but i plan to return for a day. Excellent photos.

It was the pikey's at Thorne .....

They cut the cable near Thorne South in an attempt to nick some, when the couldn't get any, then went the other side near Thorne North and cut the cable there as well. Result was total chaos for all trains to/from Hull and Scunthorpe to Doncaster

All depends, you can get chunks of freight in spurts, or you can can get a constant flow of it. I was there Wednesday afternoon and there wasn't much. All depends on the day.
