I've seen it (Rugby's one of its hanging out places) and I can tell you, it's a normal Freightliner shed with blue sides.

But I suppose with Sheds, ya need to get excited about the special liveries cos there's nowt else interesting, not sure how many there are, Shanks, Malcom, Bardon, Medite - and maybe the Metronet ones?

It's not a case of a special Freightliner livery as such, it's a case of seeing a Freightliner train down here in the south west, which is not often, & the case it's a special liveried 66 as well.

Thank's Nat. I take it the friday working is the split from the wednesday one? IIRC it splits at Tavy Junc., with the other half going to Cornwall.

**i think** Wednesday and Fridays trains are seperate as Wednesdays to Tavistock Jn is roadstone for unloading, return working normally departs 13:xx.

I think Fridays is empty wagons to Burngullow for loading with sand?? If it is roadstone it is a different train to Wednesdays so will probably be tripped from Burngullow to Newton Abbot in two portions due to the South Devon banks...

And if I posted "I'm fed up hearing about xxxx" everytime something didnt interest me I'd never leave my PC...

66623 6M42 14:38 WOOLMODSD - NEASDNSFL (20:23), r/t Holes Bay @15/04.

courtesy Roger Smith,

In theory it should do the return trip on Thursday and run back light engine around 20:22 off Wool as 0W49 back to Soton Maritime. Its running via the Havant and Guilford at the oment as per the Basingstoke Blockade.

I might just add usual disclaimers apply.

Personally speaking I dont give a toss what color it is, it can be Hentis-Rail Blue or even PINK or be 15 years old for all I care. If I know its running and I need it then I will be at Poole to see it go through.

Cheers

It could be that 66623 will not be down returning the empties on the 6O49. It looks as though they are using the HIA's for the above working?

Again usual disclaimers apply.

The first visit to the West Country for Bardon Aggregates blue-liveried No. 66623 was on 12 April 2007, when it powered the 13.18 Neasden - Hackney Yard. The train formed of new FHH bogie hoppers is seen crossing Cockwood Harbour, Starcross .

I missed it! :( Did sorta see it in the distance this morn approaching Laira on the way to work, & sorta got a brief glimpse of it at work heading back up to Hackney Yard. Was looking forward to at least getting a decent viewing of it. :(
