Hi all,

As some of you may know, 6M42 (MWO) Wool Sand is running a day out of sync and is running up to Neasden today instead of yesterday. It's original loco failed so Bardon liveried 66623 was despatched and is hauling the train. It's currently working to time. Rough timings are as follows:

15:20 Bournemouth
16:20 Eastleigh
17:15 Basingstoke
18:45 Staines
19:25 Willesden Jcn
20:34 Neasden

Ta DH, RS and stonec.

Must be cursed because my pics from yesterday have been lost after the memory card corrupted itself. My Dad has a program that can retrieve deleted photos from re-formatted memory cards and it found loads of pictures - just not the ones of the 66 :( I suppose, though, at the end of the day it's only a shed. Just nice to see one down this way that isn't brown, green or orange!

If your dad had done it before, that means he was effectively fare evading.

If you're planning on going out to see it it may well be late due to signalling problems at Basingstoke.

...which was caused by an overload of trains as a result of disruption at Portsmouth I'm told!

Wasn't too late in the end. I know there were troubles on the Pompey direct near Witley this morning with one train being at a stand for around 2 hours and 20 minutes.

Does anyone else agree that the green roof doesn't really suit it?

If anyone's interested, it worked the Wool sand down from Neasden again today so it may well work up again tomorrow afternoon.
