They dont seem to do timetables as such. I get a list of trains and times leaving from termini stations, but no details of there they stop.
And this one is too hopeful by half

My chum is going to come in from Kolkata, go to Khulna (for Sundarbans) then leave on the Assam side at Agartala. He may do that in reverse, the the train between Agartala and Lumding on the main line to Dibrugarh might be better done south to north.

Any and all advice about anything on two rails between Darsana and Akhaura would be gratefully received, even if it's 30 years out of date .

I don't find the "Future Plane" section of the "gallary" very reassuring either -Spinal Tap stonehenge scene anybody? The black-on-dark brown colour scheme for the fares is particularly useful.

I quite like the use of "miscreants" though. Would make a change: "Your attention please. The 18:16 service to London Paddington is delayed by approximately 20 minutes. This is due to miscreants".

From what I've read the railway system in India (and I would imagine Bangladesh wouldn't be so dissimilar) is absurdly complicated to understand, with wierd and wacky timetables, tickets and reservations systems.

India isnt so bad, though woe betide you if you havent booked your tickets.
Bangladesh has a lot more railway than I had realised (Pakistan has left theirs to just collapse), but all I have any kind of detailed info on is Dhaka to Chittagong and Calcutta.
