BanburyAnyone got any information on T&Cs? What the depot and routes are like?
They accept relocation now? That's good must have realised the worth of Qualified DriversI've got an interview for it , I assume you have to?
Chiltern have always taken on qualified drivers from other TOCs and FOCsThey accept relocation now? That's good must have realised the worth of Qualified Drivers
Chiltern have night shifts at Marylebone and Aylesbury drivers depots, only at Banbury for dedicated Depot drivers I believe, not mainline drivers. Yes, Sundays are not (currently) part of the working week although of course this will change if the Government get their way.Sundays are outside I believe for Chiltern.
They didnt used to have nights, not sure if that's changed, is this for a qualified role?
Trainee (apprentice) drivers now have to live within 45 minutes commute from their home Depot. I believe they have had problems before where drivers have promised to relocate and then haven't done (either on purpose or after a change in circumstances) so now apply the condition I stated. They wouldn't take me a few years ago as said they wont take anyone relocating , they will take from other companies but not if relocating.
Hoping its now changed.
I had an interview once before and then they cancelled it and said they didn't realise I was located where I was and wouldn't accept relocations.
All Chiltern depots have a fixed RD pattern but Banbury have more RDs in a set period than other depots. Your RDs will be fixed as part of your roster but can be swapped with other drivers easily enough, and Chiltern still have a RDW agreement currently if overtime is your thing.Thats interesting, is it a fixed pattern of RD's there? In relation to the night's I was just relating to Banbury , wasn't sure if it had changed but if not then great lol
