Banbury to leamington weekend engineering.

Can anyone tell me how the engineering works effect the xc services north of leamington via coventry.It appears that thre is a full working timetable on the trainline itinery website,cheers for any help.

Appears to be a normal service to Leamington Spa where the CrossCountry service will terminate then a bus to Banbury to get another CrossCountry service towards Reading and Bouremouth.

Can someone enlighten me why this route is always affected by engineering works at weekends?

If it's not Didcot-Oxford, then it's Oxford-Banbury or Banbury-Leamington Spa.

What really bugs me is that thanks to this crap called Privatisation, XC drivers don't go via the Cotswolds & Malverns line, like they used to, now we have to either go by bus, via VWC, FGW & Bristol Parkway or by car.
