I have a number of questions here is the first.
I noticed at the Elephant & Castle at the north end there is a rear cab clear sign but next to it is another one never seen it lit up, anyone know what it is for and how it worked?

At Charing Cross north end it seems to be a sort of square box around the tunnel mouth have not seen anywhere else anyone know why?

Between Waterloo and Embankment there was what I think they called armour plating is this still in place and is it both tunnels. Does it just cover the section that is under the river?

Last one

At a number of stations at the drivers end it seems that there are handrails put in place to help people when they climb up from the track but they are not at every station, why have they not done all?

The rear cab clear sign lights up when the driver bringing the train in presses the plunger at the south end of the platform for the purposes of stepping back. The other light box says "DEPOT" and would light up when a train was booked to shunt back empties into London Road from Elephant. I don't know if it still works but it certainly used to, although not always. I think it depended on the signaller pressing a button to illuminate it.

Have been looking for photos but found on youtube about the remaining bits of my question. If you look at 5.14 you will see the headwall and surround and you will also see the handrails.

At Charing Cross floodgates are fitted and the steps allow the engineers track access to achieve construction of it.

Dstock7080 there are no floodgates at Charing Cross on the Bakerloo they are at Embankment, I know that was originally called Charing Cross. The steps look very new compared to the surrounding area, they do give access to/from the track but surely they were not built as you state. At 4.04 the train stops at Embankment were you can see the floodgate although it does look similar not quite the same.

I agree with you lets hope that Dstock 7080 comes back, I see he has been on recently.
