Bad customer service from TPE

Got on the 1454 tpexpress from Liverpool to Hull arriving at 1725 but after sitting for 20 minutes it was cancelled and we were told to catch the 1524 train towards Newcastle and change at Leeds, we get to Leeds and then have to wait for the late running train from Liverpool which was the train that had been cancelled in Liverpool that left Leeds around 1735 but then we got to Selby at 1800 to be told that the train was going to be cancelled so we caught the 1816 Northern to Hull arriving 1855 or 90 minutes late. We then had to catch a bus to our village but that left at 1830 with the next one at 2035 or 3 hours after our original one, we spoke to a lovely lady working for tpexpress at Hull who wanted to get us a taxi but her supervisor wouldn't pay and said we would have to wait. That's not good for customer relations

Make sure you claim delay repay from TPE.

Unfortunately TPE don’t have a duty to get you to your home, only to your ticketed destination. But you’re still due delay repay for the rail delay you experienced.

I have put a claim in but I only paid £21.35 for a return ticket but it's not good being 3 hours late getting home

Unfortunately no help in this instance but I have had ex gracia payments for a Taxi when I have missed the last bus of the day to my village due to rail delays from both West Midland Railway & Transport for Wales . Sent details to Customer Services to claim .
