Bachmann Class 70

Received a Class 70 from my better half as a birthday surprise and have to say it is brilliant. I wasn't too sure of this loco and have yet to see a prototype in the flesh so to speak but I have certainly warmed to it because of this model. Very very nice indeed!

I’ve had an examine of one in Modelzone (Wrong era and much too large for my layout though, as well as being out of my price range) and the Bachmann 70 is certainly an exquisite model. They’ve captured all the lumps and bumps of the prototype to a great degree of accuracy. Hats off to Bachmann I think.

Which one have you got? Ive had 70003 on order from my local model shop for ages but Bachmann have yet to deliver it

I got my 70003 on the first week of delivery at Hattons.
LOVE IT.
up at the top of my fav list with my 153.

£180...... there having a laugh, it ******es me off when people buy a limited adition and then a few months later try selling it on for a stupid amount, if it was £100-125 i'd seriously consider buying it, especially as its 512 of 512.... but £180, no thanks!
