BA domestic at Heathrow T5

Next week I'm doing Heathrow T5 to Belfast City on BA, with no bags and app check-in. If I aim to arrive on the tube 1 hour before departure is that sensible?

An hour is fine, but, I probably wouldn’t risk it quite that tight by tube. The Piccadilly line to T5 can have random gaps and it could be stressful.

Agreed on aiming for 90 minutes at the moment. Security lines have been long at certain times recently and there’s no special lanes for domestic flights. It’s worth also noting that BA have a policy at Heathrow, 35 minutes before departure is the latest time you can scan your boarding pass at security.

Update if anyone's interested - I was through security within 10 mins of stepping off the tube but it felt like a quiet time (the tube wasn't that busy with air pax). T5 is very well designed!
