Here's one that I haven't thought about before. My current (2008/9) free passes card expires on 30th June - if I fill in a box (which gives two days travel) on that date,is it valid for travel on the 1st July, beyond the date of the card ?
I have the new card (2009/10) but it seems a waste not to use the current one if I can.Never thought of this before - anyone know for sure ??

You are (supposed) to hand them back once they expire.... now I'm not saying do this, but, people are known to 'loose' them and for a 'friend' to find them and return them to a Booking Office. Although out of date, the finder is eligible for a £10 reward per document...

Hence the reason RST like them to be returned...

Surely no one in the right mind would do this. At the end of the day, if proven to be lost/ found under suspicious circumstances, that would be fraud, and the pass holder liable to legal action, and probably dismissal. Is that really worth a measly £10? :s

Going back a few years now, I am sure that you had to hand the old card in before you were issued with the new one (or is my memory playing tricks) :???:

At our company, we are charged a fee for a reissue of either the Staff Travel Card or the RST Photocard, IIRC this is £10.00 and thus would fit with the £10.00 reward per document you quote.
