Visited it for the first time yesterday. The platform is on the opposite side of the line from thinly entrance, so you have to walk around the buffers to get to it. Why did they do that?
There is a small shelter halfway along the platform, and the back of it is approximately level with the back of most of the platform, but this part of the platform has a backward extension which enables you to walk behind the shelter. Why did they do that? (The wheelchair ramp is behind here, but I doubt that's the reason for it.)
