I had a day on the Avon earlier this month - first visit and thoroughly enjoyed it. Friendly people and nice setup. Just wish it was possible to have a proper look at the workshops.

Friendly people and nice setup

One of the staff allowed me in the cab of a class 31 while it was stationary last time I was there. Lovely place, shame the line’s not longer.
