Avon Buses who are based on the Wirral are currently expanding into Liverpool, the next move into Liverpool will be on the 10th August when they take over services 144/145 Bootle - Litherland Services from Cumfybus, on the date Avon will also introduce 2 trips each way on service 143 between Arrowe Park Hospital and Litherland.
