Hi,
Just a warning to save you wasting your time - Holt Model Railways are a disgrace! In summary:
- Their website is full of errors such as
http://www.holtmodelrailways.co.uk/photo.php?code=R4096G - slight conflict between the description and photo!
- The website is unclear and will let you waste time ordering items which aren't available
- Worst of all, when I dared to phone to seek help, two different members of staff were unable either to help or to admit there was any issue with the website, they were deeply patronising, and both refused to give their names and hung up on me! Had I been in the slightest bit rude to them, that might be justifiable, but I wasn't (I didn't get a chance!). Their attitude and conduct flies in the face of the nonsense on the website about company values and staff expertise...I particularly liked the bit about:
There are plenty of decent model shops out there with helpful staff and accurate websites, such as Hattons - I plan on voting with my feet (well, credit card!) and unless you like being patronised by the Lord Gods of Holt, I would suggest you do the same!

Telephone would be preferred, as we all feel that a more realistic understanding of an enquiry is made with voice contact rather than cold print-outs.
