Average response time?

Hey All,

I've applied for a Despatch job with FGW about 2 and a half weeks ago and still haven't received a reply, does anyone have a rough estimate on how long they take? It's agonising waiting :/

I dont think there is a definitive answer to that question. When I applied for First GBRf it took about 2 months to find out I have an interview then a further 1 month to find out I got the job.

It seems by nature the HR departments in most railway companies are extremely slow.

Could be to do with the post as well considering recent adverse weather conditions.

I'd give them 4 or 5 weeks then get on to their hr department. Politely of course.
