It says +VWC & Connections (the + being critical, meaning it includes a cross-London transfer), basically if you want to go via Tamworth and London with Virgin :?
The 'connections' get you to/from the route served by Virgin (Tamworth/Birmingham to London). That's how it works! If it was VWC only then it wouldn't work! Quite a long way round, but vastly superior to going on the worst long distance operator, XC, and I bet it has more availability of affordable fares too.

Right - these tickets are available like any other ticket.
From A ticket office, rail appointed travel agent or Online (I would suggest a TOC's site not 'thetrainline' or 'raileasy' - Personally I would choose www.eastcoast.co.uk ).
If you give dates and times - someone on here will help you with fares.
