Not been on here for a while so might have missed something but October 2022 applicant here, applied for Manchester passed in February but no course date as of yet. Just wondering if anyone from back end of 2022 has been offered a course date yet. Congratulations to everyone else who has recently passed!

Hi mate, think you’re in the wrong forum, this is the group after ours but yeah I’ve heard back. I’m a October 2022 applicant as well and I’ve recently been given a start date in the new year. Euston applicant

Hiya, Manchester applicant, I’ve got the VSE and M7SJT coming up. Is the VSE a dot following a track or a dot moving clockwise around squares like the practice papers? And is the 2nd test columns of letters or symbols?

The practice material seems different than what people are saying their tests were.

Thanks

Oh I didn’t even realise haha, have you a link to the other forum? And congratulations! I’m guessing I’ll be looking at the May intake or possibly later then

Here it is. And I wouldn’t even begin to guess about when, honestly can never truly know. Hopefully it’s soon for you though pal

Have you been given a date for your medical yet? And if so was in via email, post?

The first test is a dot following a track and to click on the errors and the second test is 2 columns of shapes. The 3rd test is doing test 1&2 at the same time.
The practice tests that were sent are not the same.

After some research, I have found out that the actual VSE may be nothing like the practice test material they send you, i have attached the following picture, is this how it will be? Clicking error when the train skips a stop??
Is anyone aware if this resembles the VSE? thanks

Hi everyone,

I have sent over my maths and English to the driver recruitment my English certificate got accepted but my maths didn’t because it was my provisional result and not a certificate has anyone else’s been accepted? don’t fancy paying £50+ for a certificate.

Has anyone else had this problem or did your provisional result get excepted.

Thanks in advance

Hi everyone, I recently completed the vse with Avanti and I have just found out I have failed(I’m gutted and don’t think I should have failed), it says I cannot re do the vse for another 6 months with Avanti but I just wanted to ask if this is with all TOC’s or can I apply with different TOC’s within that 6 month window. Thanks

Sorry to hear that.

Some TOC’s don’t do the VSE so shouldn’t be an issue.

Which depot did you apply for?

What assessment is that? Is he already in the talent pool or is it the assessments to get in the talent pool?

There was a recruitment drive in October and February and people are still in the recruitment stages from then.

It’ll be a while I’d expect before they advertise again. A year or two.

Hi, I have got my Stage 1 assessment Centre on the 30th November for Euston:

1. The Trainability for Rules and ProceduresTest Part 1 and 2

2. The Group Bourdon Concentration Test

3. The Test of Everyday Attention forOccupational Assessment (TEA-Occ)

On the PDF they give you with practice sheets, it talks about criteria based questions an interview. I’m I correct in thinking this part is no longer included?

Thanks
