Avanti seat direction

Hello all, newby here so be gentle with me (and apols if there's a previous thread regarding this, did search) Looking at reserving seats on Avanti - Euston- Lancaster in July (they're not yet available, just been playing around with some dummy bookings in June). The Avanti website seat selector shows direction of travel (on the left hand side) but when picking a fwd facing table seat and then clicking on the seat 'features' icon, it says backward facing....Can anyone explain this ..??

Hi there. Unless there's an issue on the day, first class will be at the London end of the train. If the seat selector is giving contradictory information, you can use this to work out which seats face forward.

thank you, it does indeed show 1st/SP at Euston buffers end and when i have reselected the 'test' seats their image orientation is now consistent with their description - MAY have been guilty of fat finger syndrome there...
