Hello, just want some advice please, Avanti payed out automatically for a delay into Euston..this was a 17 minute delay, but the return journey, they refuse to acknowledge even though train was cancelled last minute, whilst in Euston and this resulted in a delay of over an hour. Do I ask if the rejection is there final decision and then get in touch with the regulato.
Thanks for replying.

Which train is involved and on which date? What ticket did you hold?

It was an advanced ticket, bought from Avanti website. Date was 22nd November for the direct 19.02 train to Chester from Euston. That’s the ticket they sent, ticket bought 24th October. By day of travel departure should have been 18.59. Train arrived into platform 14, I’ve screen shot from rtt. It was then cancelled at 19.20, told by Avanti staff to get Preston train but that to was cancelled, ended up getting 20.30 to Liverpool changing in Crewe, arriving Chester 22.50. Thanks

What was the reason given for the rejection? This train was undoubtedly cancelled.

Have you appealed the decision? If you haven't, it isn't their final decision.

What train time did you put on your claim? 1902 or 1859?
