Good afternoon everyone,

In a few weeks time I need to travel to the West Midlands on a Friday afternoon from Hampshire. One itinerary I've found suggests taking the 1946 LNWR service from Euston, as super off-peak tickets are valid on this service. Am I likely to get a seat on this train?

I'm trying to avoid XC at the moment, which is why I'm travelling via London.

It's can be busy that train, although the further you go from the platform entrance the quieter it gets.

Best thing to do is to look at RTT at when the inbound arrives (from memory around 19;25) so you can get a good chance of a seat when the doors get released (comes in as a 12 coach which splits)

Hopefully Desiro roulette will be kind and not give you a pair of /2s like it was last Friday!
