Authy is used widely for security-conscious folks but apparently there has been a hack.

Looking into the QR codes that I have generated into Authy, I can see that the username is incorporated into the QR code. Why do they do this? Surely it would be better if only the 6 digit authentication code is able to be gleaned from it?
