Arriva tweeted that their easement policy for advance tickets for the upcoming Sunday strike will be published on Friday.
I've bought an advance from Wrexham to Cardiff some weeks ago for this Sunday. Their replacement bus timetables aren't the best and the journey times are foul, so I'm considering doing a diversion Chester - Crewe - Birmingham NS - Cheltenham - Cardiff Central. A manager at CDF told me that the other operators should be fine, and that they're advising people to make diversions/use other operators before using their bus services. The Sunday midday North-South services are usually very busy, so there's no guarantee I'd get on a rail replacement bus anyway.
But how far from the original journey would be "acceptable" from an originally advance ticket?
