Chiltern will have quite a lot of route learning to do in the very future with the opening of the E-W link.

It would take a reversal, and I know the line is going to close soon... But I can think of more than one person in Aylesbury who would love to board a 121 in the morning and arrive in central Oxford around 45-50 minutes later.

The bus can take 45 minutes to get from Oxford Station to Headington (or Vice Versa).

EWR is going to be electrified; this will extend down to Aylesbury/Princes Risborough IIRC so Chiltern may drop the shuttle and 'public' 121s in the future?

Pretty sure EWR does not include any electrification on the Claydon - Aylesbury axis.

I did have a brief glance at the website; perhaps not, I didn't find any clear information.

55024 left Aylesbury some time ago - currently at Tyseley, but not sure who owns it. 55021 and 55030 were scrapped at Aylesbury in 2011. Class 122 unit 55019 is now preserved at the Llanelli & Mynydd Mawr Railway, sold to them for £1! At Aylesbury that just leaves the two passenger bubble cars (55020 & 55034), plus route learner 960014 (55022) and the class 117 water jetter 960301.

Perhaps the last chance to have a ride on board 121032 before it is withdrawn forever. Details available in this thread!
