Any update on atw 150/143/153/142 repaints? Is upholstery being replaced? I note a 143 has gained the new style upholstery

Will the wessex 150s be improved in any way?

153327 has now been repainted: http://www.flickr.com/photos/610224...vU3-fnxNmG-fkFZNg-h5FW1E-h2tcSL-gZYZ1L-gVL4dU.

Any idea what 143 has been re-upholstered? I'm sure it's not any of the three that I know have been repainted (i.e 143605, 143608 and 143624) as they've all been out on the Rhymney Line in the last week and appear untouched from Valley Lines days internally. I'm glad to see the repaints progressing though, some of them, for example 143625 and 143622 (which is starting to show parts of its previous Visit Bristol livery!) need it badly!

Quick question, Does anyone know how many ATW 143s are in the newer style of ATW livery now?

Thanks I can update my books

Please can this be added to the livery list updates?

I noticed today that 150227 is now in the new livery. However, when I saw it come into Energlyn and Churchill Park it didn't look quite right. When I got on it I realised why. Not only has the exterior been repainted, but its interior has been refreshed too (a bit surprising considering it was in the last batch of 150s to go to Arriva and hence be refurbished).

Not only have the seats been reupholstered, but the seat tops have been painted white alongside the interior walls being repainted, along with grab-rails and luggage racks too. Unfortunately I couldn't get a decent photo as not only was the train busy for most of the journey (being in rush hour), but my phone is refusing to work, meaning I could only use my rather old iPod to take a photo, so my apologies for it being rather crap. I have to pop down to Cardiff tomorrow to get it looked at, and with 150227 finishing its day at Rhymney, hopefully I should be able to see it out tomorrow to try to get a better picture.

Interesting, looks a bit like the 153 interior now. Looks quite a bit different from the previous 150 interior, are they the same seats?

How many of each class are in the new ATW livery now (obviously all 158s are and the LHCS, and none of the 175s)?

150230 was sat in the shed today at LNWR freshly repainted with a new interior like 150227 with plastic covers on all the seats and grabrails. Had its engines running and having final checks before its released.

They are done whenever they are due to go LNWR for heavy maintenance.
