after finding its train (In the petroleum sidings) the loco took them into the yard before running round,in the mean time 44905 has arrived on the delayed ECS from Dumfries.
D6787 is opened up through Tarff ready to attack the next section of the climb.
Dalbeattie and a signal check holds us up.
Once again the loco is slowed by a signal check following a Stranraer-Carlisle local service.
Still getting checked by 2S01 we are slowed to a crawl before the signal clears and the locos is opened up for the final stretch of 1 in 150
We pass 2S04 to Stranraer as the 37 is again opened up after waiting for 2S01 to again clear the section.
D6787 coasts downhill towards Maxwelltown
and finally approaching Dumfries.
The 60 is towed away by the resident 08 and i just realised this consist should be the opposite way round! I will change that....
Due to the position where the 60 Failed (platform 4) 47677 on 1V92 was forced to go into platform 5. 47049 awaits V92 to clear the section ahead before proceeding.
Once we get the road acceleration is slow and by Moreton we hit 25mph

Nearing Pangbourne another HST is passed.
