Not sure if this should be in here or the other forum so please move if inappropriate.

What is this like then - been reading a little about it but fancied doing a bit of a round trip on it when I am out there at the end of the month. Stations I should visit?

is there any local train services that you think I should have a little trip on too?

Many thanks

I've had an hour on it, it's decent, but not that exciting that I remember, here's a bit of video I took on it - by the way, photo and video is not allowed on the Metro, so this was done sneakily.

The Port of Pireaus is pretty cool for watching the ships and ferries come and go.

Isn't it owned by two separate private companies (Attic Metro and ISAP)? Or have they finally and logically been merged after over a century of competition?

I remember it being very modern, punctual and efficient (lines 2 and 3 particularly i.e. the modern ones), which I'm afraid can't always be said for other forms of public transportation in Greece. :) Ferries in particular..

Cheers for the info folks.. I see from wiki that there is some sort of museum @ Pireaus so I may pop in there.. only 10 euro for a 48 hour return from the airport too - much cheaper then a taxi I was first quoted on :)
