Hi Everyone

I have been invited to an assessment day with FGW for a train managers position which I'm looking forward to. I have been practising the tests to death and used loads of other online one's to prepare for that part of the assessment. Any thought on what the rest of the day will look like. It's a half day assessment andnthere will be a role play exersise, any idea what that will be like and will an interview be part of the day ?

Thanks for reading guys.

When is your assessment mate?

They've changed the process so many times over the last 18 months, I don't think many people know for sure, but a friend if mine recently (two weeks ago) her assessment and all she did was the assessments, interview on successfully passing the assessments was some weeks later. I've not heard of a role play, perhaps a group discussion though.

Is it at the Swindon assessment centre or down Swansea ?

I hope this isn't too much of a bump, but I'm going to an assessment centre for FGW at the end of next month for the position of conductor, how do you use google to pinpoint practices that will be useful for the conductor test?

Also can someone just clary the order of how First work one would presume it's the following :

Online assessment
Telephone interview
Assessment centre
Final interview
Medical & References.

Can anyone inform me roughly how many people will be alongside me at the assessment centre in total?
Overal after plying through the 4 exercises my part that needs most attention is reading the text extract and answering the questions. Any help or advice would be great.
