Hello again, I appreciate that the Glop memory test is based on sandite. Is it worth researching about Sandite at all ???
I don't want to waste my time if not. But I want to at least give myself some idea for on the day. Is there any literature that anybody can suggest to research.

Researching Sandite won't help. It's all about listening/reading and making appropriate notes on the bits you think will be imprortant that will be in the questions.

No definitely do not try to read up about it, the passage bears very little resemblance to reality. It’s a very basic comprehension exercise of the type you’d do in your first year of secondary school and shouldn’t be challenging unless you have no short term memory. They were using the same passage and questions when I first did my Signaller’s psychometrics 13 years ago.

Don't waste your time. This is simply a test of trying to remember the important points of what you've been given to read.
My advice would be to read what you are given and write down what you think are the relevant bits of text. This will help you remember it although you won't be able to use any notes you've made during the test.

This sounds very similar to a RAAT test.
Passed yesterday, absolutely buzzing. The post earlier about the day is pretty spot on, the 2 hand coordination test is super sensitive and I went out the tracks a good few times but still got through. The group borden tests are ok if you practice using the tool off this forum and printing them off as it's paper and pen on the day

Sorry to Jump on this thread just had my assessments for Northern and messed up I think the easiest test I had done up to the part I got ‘sent home’ .
On the TEA-OCC I failed the second party stupidly and annoyingly diddnt get far enough on it in the timeframe. Then I passed part 3 were you have to listen to the tones and mark your answers no problems. So annoyed with myself being to hesitant first time.
Does anybody know the 6 months re sit procedure for northern? Do I have to wait til the position is re advertised and start all over again interview, medical etc? And only re sit the bits I haven’t passed?
